Der Himmel ist ein Ort reinster Heiligkeit, aber genauso ist er ein Ort ungetr\u00fcbten Frohsinns. Je mehr wir f\u00fcr den Himmel zubereitet werden, umso mehr werden wir jene Freude besitzen, die Teil des Himmels ist. Es ist der ausdr\u00fcckliche Wunsch unseres Heilandes, dass Seine Freude <em>heute schon<\/em> in uns sei, und dass unsere Freude v\u00f6llig werde.<em>\u00ab<\/em> [Johannes 15,11; vgl. 17,13]<\/p><p>\u00bbChrist wishes his people to be happy. When they are perfect, as he will make them in due time, they shall also be perfectly happy. As heaven is the place of pure holiness, so is it the place of unalloyed happiness; and in proportion as we get ready for heaven, we shall have some of the joy which belongs to heaven, and it is our Saviour\u2019s will that even now his joy should remain in us, and that our joy should be full.\u00ab<\/p><cite>C.
